Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization
(MPO). My predecessor, Paul Hornbeck, reached out about the
Vision Zero Safety Action Plan Steering Committee last year.
We will be starting steering committee meetings within the
next few weeks but do not have a confirmed representative
from the Lawrence Association of Neighborhoods. <b><span

Plan establishes a roadmap for how a community can
eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries on its
streets. The steering committee will help guide the plan’s
development and review stakeholder input. <b>We
anticipate the steering committee will meet four to six
times between March and November for 1 to 2 hours each
during the evening</b>.
