<div>                The current LAN board wants to update information from those receiving the electronic list serve emails.<br>Likewise, the following link is to the LAN home page, with quick links to Neighborhood Association Contacts.<br><br>https://lawrenceneighborhoods.wordpress.com/<br>Are the correct contacts listed? <br>If not, there is an online form to update.<br><br>We also want to get a better understanding of registered Neighborhood Associations:<br>  If you are currently paying the LAN yearly dues of $25:<br>       Do you have a representative who attends the monthly LAN meeting, which is the 3rd Wednesday of each month?<br>       If you are paying, but not attending LAN meetings, why? <br>  We are currently holding hybrid meetings.  <br>   -Is it the meeting day and time?<br>   -You can designate your representative as two people to share, if that works best.<br><br>By not having a representative at meetings, LAN is often unable to vote on items because there not a quorum in attendance.<br>Your attendance and input is imperative for our success.<br><br>If your registered Neighborhood Association is not a member of LAN:<br>   Would you consider attending a LAN meeting to see the benefits of your involvement?<br>   Would you prefer having a board member contact you to discuss?<br><br>LAN is also prepared to help neighborhoods wishing to become better organized, by offering mentors and help with city resources.<br><br>Our hope is to move LAN forward with the participation needed to address city policies, services, and programs that effect Lawrence neighborhoods.<br><br>Thank you for your involvement and help.<br>Holli Joyce, LAN chair<br>Holliajoyce@yahoo.com<br><br><br> <br>   -<br><br>            </div>
