Chancellor Girod has stated Mississippi Street between Ninth and Fambrough will be a "high volume street." <br><br>Neighborhood organizations from Old West Lawrence, OREAD, West Hills, and University Heights have formed a multi-neighborhood exploratory group to gather information both from KU and the City regarding the development at 11th and Mississippi. While these four neighborhoods are in close proximity to the area targeted, KU’s plans are a citywide concern.
