      does indeed involve the County Commission.  First, it's their
      agricultural or natural lands that are being degraded, and
      secondly, the County Commission must vote to allow their land to
      be annexed into the City.<br>

        citizens rather than intelligently inform them. Which I see as a
        direct contradiction to the mission statement of the VEC. </div>

        the needs of the county government in the next 4 or 8 years? </div>

        the questions are focused on the actual seat being discussed as
        opposed to distractions and red herrings. Our community has
        endured enough of that ignorance these last few years. We can
        and should seek to do better. </div>
