<p class="MsoNormal">I serve as the managing editor of The Journal, a quarterly magazine published by the Kansas Leadership Center. In our Winter edition, we announced a competition to recognize the best neighborhoods in Kansas. Our initial application deadline
 passed recently and we have ZERO submissions from Lawrence (despite having more than 300 readers of the magazine living or working in the city). I was hoping to enlist your help in encouraging neighborhoods from Lawrence to apply.

<p class="MsoNormal">We are extending the application deadline until April 2. Any resident of a neighborhood can nominate where they live by answering the questions we’ve included here:
