Dear LAN listserve members,
I am including a proposed "letter to the editor" for local media outlets regarding LAN's stance on the upcoming ballot question to change our form of local governance.
I am aware that the LJW restricts letters to 500 words. I am unsure if we would get leeway as a community organization. I didn't take any chances and left the letter at 400 words to allow room for edits.
During the September LAN meeting, I volunteered to write this letter and submit it to the group prior to our October meeting.
Thank You
