[Electronic-LAN] February minutes and increased funding request

Dear LAN listserve recipients,
I have attached the draft minutes for the Feb. 22, 2024 meeting. Feel 
free to reply to gkwebber at gmail.com  with any edits.
LAN is asking the City Commission to increase funding in 2025 for Rental 
licensing/inspection and code enforcement.  We will be sending a letter 
soon to the City Commission stating this position and requesting they 
increase funding for these programs in 2025. I will post the letter to 
this listserv when it is finalized. LAN representatives will also be 
meeting with individual commissioners to lobby for this increase.
To be most affective, we need individual neighborhood associations to 
submit supporting letters and speak during the Public Comment period at 
the beginning of the next 6 meetings. *Would LAN member NA 
representatives or officers please communicate this to their governing 
bodies and arrange to submit letters and present to the Commission? 
*This should happen before the end of April. You can attend in person or
