There is regents data from that time forward.  A decline in the number of graduating high school students is starting now and will get much worse in the next 20 years. The decline of white students will be most pronounced. Forbes has indicated that it will be 26%.

Look at this Regents data for Kansas State: They are down 18% going forward from your numbers.

HI,

      I think it was Greg who stated that KSU enrollment had doubled because of Bill Snyder. So I made a little chart showing that there was an increase but not doubling. I couldnt find the KU figures, but I suppose they would show a similar trajectory.

I attached a spreadsheet with the numbers and football records. 1980 is when it reaches 20000.
