[Electronic-LAN] Parking survey is live!

LAN listserv members,

"The City desires to update the current procedure for processing 
municipal parking offenses to more closely align with the City’s 
commitments identified in the City of Lawrence Strategic Plan by 
transitioning parking enforcement to a civil process creating a new 
administrative procedure for municipal parking offenses to replace the 
current legal process through Municipal Court."

On July 26, at a special LAN meeting on downtown parking, Brad Harrell, 
Parking Director, presented "Transition to a Civil Process for Parking 
Enforcement".  Five LAN member neighborhoods were represented. The draft

The Parking team has held an in-person Community Meeting , and a virtual 
Community Meeting is scheduled for August 14 via Zoom. The  Virtual 
Community Meeting will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 14, via

Yesterday the team published a SurveyMonkey survey for this project, and 
are asking for input from all interested parties. This survey is your 
opportunity to comment on this proposed change. There are 20 questions
