[Electronic-LAN] LAN meeting Wednesday evening

I hope you can join us at the LAN meeting this Wednesday evening, January
19th at 7:00 PM.


We will discuss the current proposals put forth by the Boundary Advisory

497, to close schools and redraw boundary lines within the District in
order to reduce the District's budget by well over three million dollars
for the 2022-2023 school year.  It is reported that the USD 497 School
Board may take final action on these issues as early as March or April.


The possible closure of schools and shifting students to new schools
throughout the District will be one of the most consequential issues faced
by Lawrence neighborhoods in many years.  I hope you will join us to
discuss.
