[Electronic-lan] Opportunity Zone Engagement Meeting Tuesday evening

Just a reminder that next Tuesday is the opportunity zone meeting- 6:30 to 8:30 pm Tuesday October 22 at Flory Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds (2120 Harper Street)!  This is a great opportunity for residents, business owners and property owners to learn a little about the federal Opportunity Zone tool and share your thoughts on the types of investment projects you want to see in the two opportunity zones in Lawrence.  After the meeting, the facilitators will compile a report about the input received and this input will be forwarded to the City Commission for receipt at an upcoming meeting.  So, if you miss this meeting, there will be another opportunity for input as part of the City Commission meeting.  Let me know if you have any questions!
