[Electronic-lan] meeting with 23rd St. developer

Thanks for setting this up, Gary.  Unfortunately that's the day for the 
only EPA national hearing on the Clean Water Act being held in Kansas 
City, and the day of our Sustainability Action Network meeting.  So I 
can't be there.

However, I submitted comments on this project at the 23 January Planning 
Commission meeting, and I'm attaching them for your information.  I 
mostly focused on 23rd and Naismith being the nexus of two of the most 
important bikeways in town - the Naismith Trail from the S.L.T. trail 
all the way to K.U., and the planned 23rd St.shared use bikeway.

The developer seemed to show an interest in incorporating these into 
their site design.  The devil is in the design details.
