Hi Dani,
Thanks for your prompt and thoughtful response to the our member's
concerns.  I hope this will help the neighborhoods understand the
transition you are making. I know you are doing your best to make it
seamless.

On another matter, the Executive Committee of the Sunset Hill
Neighborhood Association (SHNA) <https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsunsethillna.org%2F&data=02%7C01%7Celectronic-lan%40lists.ku.edu%7C29100c644344439d5d0708d7265b2cb7%7C3c176536afe643f5b96636feabbe3c1a%7C0%7C1%7C637020045347210672&sdata=kwnowoqwgcOT%2FojnvI4tePymWLe%2F0hqY1pj6WdmSqu4%3D&reserved=0>, has been
approached to support a CDBG public service proposal in 2020.  Would
someone in your office be able to make a short presentation to the EC on
submitting a public service application at their summer meeting next
Monday, August 26? Habitat for Humanity will be presenting on their CD
proposal at the this meeting. Here are the details:

    Monday, August 26, 6:00 pm
    Fellowship Hall, Christ Covenant Church,
2312 Harvard Rd, Lawrence, KS 66049

SHNA has not been fully CDBG eligible until this year, so we have no
experience with the process. We will not meet again until early December.
Thanks again!
Gary Webber, President, SHNA
