*City reviewing options for how to regulate properties being used as 
short-term rentals (i.e. Airbnb, VRBO)*

Before bringing forward a draft ordinance to the City Commission, the 
City would like to hear from stakeholders and community members.

There are two ways for stakeholders and community members to participate:

 1. Attend the stakeholder/community meeting Tuesday, September 26, 2017
    at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 6 East 6 Street, in the City Commission
    Room. There will be a staff presentation followed by questions and
    comments. Staff will be requesting written comments throughout the
    process.
 2. Participate in a brief survey through Lawrence Listens at
    www.lawrenceks.org/lawrence-listens
    <http://lawrenceks.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=7ca5a42664e87643b2b54d343&id=1672e65057&e=1db547db75>.
    The survey will be available from September 26, 2017 through October
    13, 2017.

All the feedback collected will help guide staff through the development 
of a short-term rental ordinance which will be presented to the City 
Commission tentatively scheduled for their November 14, 2017 work session.
