'Seeding Change' event set for April 20

LiveWell Lawrence will host a spring program from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at the Meeting Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2120 Harper St., Lawrence (note: location has changed). The event, "Seeding Change: A Community Conversation about Living Well in Douglas County," will include presentations about:

  *   Community Health Assessment
  *   Douglas County Food System Plan
  *   Horizon 2020 Community Comprehensive Plan
  *   Lawrence Cultural Plan
  *   Lawrence Parks and Recreation Master Plan
  *   STAR Community Rating System
  *   Transportation 2040
Following the presentations, there will be breakout groups on a variety of interest areas and information about how to get involved. Event is free and open to the public.
