Attention Lawrence Preservation Alliance Members!

The City of Lawrence is seeking qualified historians to fill two vacant
positions on the City's Historic Resources Commission (HRC).

The HRC meets once a month to review applications concerning changes to
historic landmarks or districts and to properties located within their
environs. They also nominate properties to historic registers and advise
the City Commission on matters related to historic preservation. The HRC is
vital to ensuring that the historic character of Lawrence that we all love
is maintained for future generations.

Both positions will be vacant as of March 1, 2017, and LPA encourages any
members that might be interested to apply. More information on the HRC can
