collection updates beginning next week on May 1st - in regards to yard
waste collection and 30% of residential customer's collection days

***Collection and Recycling of Old Trash Cans/Carts – Friday, April 28th** *



On Friday, April 28th, the City of Lawrence Solid Waste Division crews will
collect and recycle personal trash cans/carts that residents no longer wish
to keep. Set out instructions for old trash containers (cans/carts) to be
recycled:



-Set out containers at the curb or alley (location where residence normally
sets out trash for collection) by 6:00 a.m. on Friday, April 28th.

-Mark an “X” on containers to be recycled.

-Containers must be empty.
